The VTCT Skills (iTEC) ESOL International exam results are announced approximately five (5) weeks after the scheduled exam date, excluding public holidays.

The results of the F.L.S. candidates are accessible on our digital platform using the login details that are unique to each centre.

The results of the Individual Candidates are sent electronically to the e-mail indicated by the candidate during their registration.

Fast-track results service

In case a candidate wishes to receive results in a shorter period than five (5) weeks, the VTCT SKILLS awarding organisation provides the option of a fast-track service, where the results are announced within eleven (11) working days from the date of the examination. Within two (2) working days from the announcement of the results, the e-certificate is sent to the Foreign Language Schools and to the independent candidates. The printed certificate is sent by courier approximately one (1) week after the e-certificate is sent.

The charge for this service is 150€ in addition to the examination fees and the registration of candidates is carried out after consultation with the Examinations Department, as there is a limited number that can be registered for each examination.

Rescoring

The rescoring refers to the request of one or more candidates to review their score in one or more skills (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking), where the result differs significantly from what was expected.

The request for rescoring should be submitted by the interested party within fourteen (14) days of the official announcement of the results by presenting the following supporting documents:

1. VTCT Skills (iTEC)_Enquiry about Results Application Form & Candidate Consent Form.

2. Clear copy of ID, passport or other official identification document*.

*In the case of underage candidates, who do not have any of the above, an identity certificate is required, which is issued by the Census Department of their Municipality or Citizen Service Centers (CSC).

3. Proof of bank deposit.

Announcement of Result

The result of the rescoring is notified electronically to the e-mail indicated by the candidate during their application.

The two possible scenarios regarding the outcome of the investigation are the following:

  1. The original score is confirmed as correct and there is no change in grade.
  2. The initial score changes, so the final score may be higher or lower than the candidate’s initial score.
